Free tour of Berlin with Mick the Kiwi

Holocaust Memorial- it is like a maze taking up a whole block it has an underground information centre providing historical facts of the holocaust. The entrance is hard to find it is located within the momorial there is no signs or arrows you just have to find it for yourself.





This is the site of Hitlers bunker just a carpark now. The people of Berlin didnt want this site to have any reference or momorials at this location they just want to forget Hitler rule, also the Holocaust Momorial is a block away from this site.


Checkpoint Charlie was the main gate way for allies, other non- Germans and diplomats from 1961 to 1990; when the wall came down. In October 1961 US and Soviet tanks faced off at this spot, almost bring the world to the brink of WW III.



Kd has a listen to some fine busking out the front of the Konzerthaus - National Theater.




Bebelplatz square momorial is the site of the first organised book burning by the Nazi party torching authors works considered subversive....



The Berliner Dom- Berlin Cathedral built in 1750.

the Altes Museum (old museum) in the centre of Berlin built in 1830....
